I am sorry to write here but I really don't like wide angle portaits and those BMW eyes. It takes from her beauty, and what I got in change is not worth it. Not with her. It is just my personal preferance of course and anybody may ignore it if they don't like, or take it into account if they want to. Perhaps it is a nick of help for somebody in the future.

Experimentation is important, we don't believe in playing it too safe. Lots of fans like this image and so do I.

Indeed. That's why I thought it is important to mention: my opinion is just one among the zillions. While positive feedbacks are very useful to fuel our creativity, the negative (but honest and benevolent) feedback helps us to direct it. I don't think that anybody should dislike this kind of portraiture just because I don't like it, but perhaps it may be useful to know the "Dark Side": ring flash gives predatory look to those beautiful eyes, outshining her beautifully clear and healthily structured iris. Breeanna has the power to look kind, soft, intimate, strong,  teasing, or even fiercely or predatory. The usual catch light for her glance is like the dot on the "i". It is not wrong to have different type of accents on that "i" but their change the meaning and sometimes they can be distracting. It also eliminates the shadows of the face, flattening out "its topography" and makes a South Park look. South Park is fine, but Breeanna is way better

For wide angle portaits: when we normally look to each other, we see the other's face in a certain angle. There are perspective distortions that we are accustomed to. This is what we get with a normal lens, about 40–55mm on full frame. Many portrait photographers shoot with short telephoto lenses of 70—120 mm or even a bit more. Their effect is similar when we are strongly focusing to the other's face: our angle of focused sight gets narrower, the distortions doesn't really vanish (contrary the result of the telephoto portrait), but lose their importance, and the background completely dissolves in our mind, that is very well mimicked by the bokeh. We get narrower angle of view, without popping the nose, the chin too forward, etc. When we love somebody and we are gazing the other's face, we don't push ours to the other's, but restrict our mind focus on the other one. This is the telephoto effect actually. But when we are shouting at rage each other, pushing our face to inches to the others, we similarly getting narrower angle of view, but tons of perspective distortion: the other's eyes gets into main focus, the nose, forehead, chins are protruding towards us, ears and the sides of the face are almost vanishing. That's the wide angle portrait.
When one is getting this close to their Beloved One (or anybody of their admiration), it is better if one's vision gives its place to other senses This is why I find wide angle portaits uncanny.

Of course, for certain type of photography it is even funny, but it would be more like caricature to shoot e.g. Prince Ch. this way

Well, this is still only my two cents, and I wish both of you a waaaaaaay greater fortune Have nice lights!*

*An almost traditional greeting among Hungarian photographers.

Thanks, ring lights have their uses, and none is better than close-ups on a beautiful woman's face.
