People like to imagine what it would be like if Pokemon were real...and I submit to you that it would be nothing like the game or television show. Every trainer would, more or less, be at Elite Four status in a matter of weeks and battling with other trainers would feel like a tournament every time. Surely it would be a world were only the most serious, obsessed nerds prevail.Edit: Thanks to fuckyeahpokememe [link] and a whole bunch of others for blogging this comic, I appreciate it!

Johto sucks, those gyms and e4 were waaay to easy.

the elite 4 was just an almost halfway point to red. he was the real challenge.

Every game's trainers are way too easy, Red being the most "difficult", but i beat him with a team that was just scratching level 60, and not one of them fainted, the game is all about a well balanced team and strategy. So, every single gym leader, elite four, and champion is quite weak... And you can beat them with a level 45 or 50 team.

I'm all for Johto. But I really started getting into pokemon during Unova and Kanto, so I'm more for that.Especially how space-age like Unova is.

Looking at this, I realize RED is sort of right, Love isn't hard in the games because you're always winning, and that makes them love you. Betcha if pokemon were real I'd be saying it would be harder because then the pokemon would be pretty tough to get love from, unless all you battle are wild pokemon.

Why do you think that only children are allowed to train these monsters? If you got an adult with any lick of sense to train something, he'd power level his way to the Elite Four within a few days and the whole balance of power would be tossed around. That's how Team Rocket could so easily take over corporations with just a few Poochyenas or Zubats.

NPC trainers ARE assholes. You can *sometimes* avoid them though, if you get far away enough.
Those guys are like some apes; eye contact is a no-no.

Oh my gosh! I can really agree with this! People don't evolve their Pokemon till they are like Level 30 just to get a move! I'm like "Fuck it! Get stronger now!" I don't give a damn about moves.
