Abstract art at its finest I must say! I would definitely put this one on my wall.

Excellent image....Can I ask you a question. What is a Fractal?

Thanks for the and excuse me for this long answer...
A fractal is "a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole," a property called self-similarity. Roots of the idea of fractals go back to the 17th century, while mathematically rigorous treatment of fractals can be traced back to functions studied by Karl Weierstrass, Georg Cantor and Felix Hausdorff a century later in studying functions that were continuous but not differentiable; however, the term fractal was coined by Benoรฎt Mandelbrot in 1975 and was derived from the Latin fractus meaning "broken" or "fractured." A mathematical fractal is based on an equation that undergoes iteration, a form of feedback based on recursion. There are several examples of fractals, which are defined as portraying exact self-similarity, quasi self-similarity, or statistical self-similarity. While fractals are a mathematical construct, they are found in nature, which has led to their inclusion in artwork. They are useful in medicine, soil mechanics, seismology, and technical analysis.

Wow thank you for your very thorough description and history of Fractals. It always amazes me how much I learn from photography and manipulations of images. I'm going to investigate fractals a little more in depth and see if I can manipulate some of my own work.

What an incredible work of fractals!!!
My mind is blown!! I've aappreciated the raw, mathematical beauty of fractal art, but I've never seen something this extraordinary! You take fractals to a new level of abstraction and artistic expression!!
who could have imagined math could be so expressive?!?!
It transcends the realm of fractal art and enters new worlds of cubism and abstract expressionism! and the dynamic of the colors is incredible! the composition is well balanced and eye-catching!
just a wonderful piece!! the DD was very well-deserved!

I got to admit I have never been a fan of art with just shapes, but you broke that with this one, i love the composition and the color! Its warm and bright all in one, something I would be happy to have as a display piece
