Did this a while ago for some weird Megaman birthday thing that I don't know ever actually happened, so I figured I could probably just post it up here, since it's been months since it was submitted.I really like Duo, and Megaman 8 in general. It represents this wonderful time for me with Megaman, when Megaman fans seemed so much less jaded. I remember being so excited about playing Rockman and Forte or Power Fighters on an emulator, and making horrible custom sprites! Begging my parents to let me order Japanese model kits of Rock and Blues! Those were the days...
Anyway, enough waxing nostalgic. I spent a long time on this, and I think it turned out really well! The lighting and all really came out nicely, and I feel like it has a good sense of depth. His head is probably waaaay too far over. Oh well.

Mega Man 8 is actually one of my favorite games in the franchise. It seems to get kind of a bad rap from what I hear, but I've never understood why.

Maybe just the timing? I think by the time MM8 came out, everybody was all about 3D games. And Megaman fans probably didn't think it did enough to expand on the previous games.
But yeah, I always was fond of it. Nothing but good memories of that one.

Duo doesn't get a lot of official appearances. but then again, i guess kalinka gets even less.

I really like the side characters from the classic series. None of them get enough love.

I remember reading your name on the list of participants, but although it's scratched out (meaning they received the work), your pieces are not in the final collab. Did you send versions without the background?
