Description
Some original characters I was commissioned to design by a good friend.I had alot of fun doing this. I was always alot more into the original series, so I didn't do much fan stuff for X. Getting to design some original characters gave me a chance to do some character types I don't normally do.
I'm particularly happy with the raptor dude. He's a little simple for a Maverick, but I still think his design is cool.

These actually do look pretty accurate to the SNES-era character designs, although X's armor isn't nearly gaudy and over-designed enough for any of the games past X2. I could see Velocity Raptor there fitting in quite nicely.

Oh, I dunno. I thought the Falcon Armor and Gaia Armor were pretty reasonable, actually. The Nova Strike Armor was also decent, if a bit too spikey.
I actually can't even recall the armor from X7, but yeah, X3 and X4's armors were somewhat nuts.
I always thought most of the Mavericks had this same problem, though. Just crystals and vents and stripes and ports and tubes and nonsense all over the place.

Weirdly enough, I think the X looking guy is my least favorite of the bunch.
