Description
Just playing around with watercolor for the first time in about 10 years. These were done over the course of a day. I looked into some tutorials and read about techniques etc.

I started off trying to copy bushes from a youtube tutorial, but it didn't go well.
I looked into techniques and playing around with variations.
Then I tried to paint a tree using complimentary colors, but I still wasn't used to how the paint worked yet.
I learned from that and did the tree and bush. I even pre-mixed colors that time around.
I wanted to try and paint something simple, but with purpose, so that's the Journey Robed Figure. I made a color test sheet for that one.
Finally I did a cherry blossom tree. I think using a brighter color of pink and maybe throwing red in would have made it pop more. The grass could have been greener as well, and probably doesn't need so many blades of grass.
