Description

I did the lineart for this last year for an auction. Although I grayscaled the original with Copic markers (see link below), I'd been meaning to apply full color to it since then.
This is an homage to the cover of DAREDEVIL #181 by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson. I kept the composition idea but changed everything else, including the characters used.

Quick shout out to my friend Amit, who set up the auction that provided the initial spark to do this (and who owns the original), and to my buddy from High School, Will Rosado, who provided me with gear reference and the inspiration to use these characters. Will has provided artwork for the actual GI Joe comic throughout the years. Thanks, fellas!
