On the right hand side, a sister, 5-year-old. Left hand side, myself, 3 and a half year-old (not looking very happy ). Between the two of us, the twins, a girl on the left and a boy on the right.
Are missing in the picture, my three other brothers. A family of seven children! We have had to learn how to deal with one another and for a while!

There is a story about the twins. My mother, rather small and thin, has been hospitalized at the 6th month of her pregnancy, the babies were two heavy for her. She got the twins after 8 months of pregnancy. They were both weighing 6 pounds each. Their life was in jeopardy, though. I don't know the real issue: they survived but came home at 4-month-old only when their lives were no longer threatened. I cannot imagine what it is for babies to begin the first 4 months of their life in a hospital. Thank God they made it!
