Tech and Black Velvet Last RescueFinally I think I'm getting better. Here is a comic book scene of Tech rescuing Black Velvet. Tech has gone off alone to search for her not listening to the rest of the team and Zodavia. Crossing several dimensions, he has found her in an strange asteroid plain, still alive but barely. Tech noticed that Black Velvet has become something similar to anti-matter since they lost her through the light vortex in their first encounter.
Upon reaching home, and ignoring the others, Tech has made an analysis of Black Velvet indicating that she is in fact a Frelengian like Zodavia. Zodavia finds this impossible for there are no other Frelengians have ventured to their solar system, only her and Optimatis. Tech then discovers Black Velvet is half human. A small trace of temporal energy is also discovered.
Note: I haven't seen any new episodes since "The Heir Up There" on Youtube, so Black Velvet's past is all made up by me. Also, this picture can be inpreted in different ways as Tech's expression could be that of grief or tears of joy. Its all up to you.

awesome picture ^^ From a brief glance I actually thought it was a photoshop image using clips from the show! Personally I believe it's grief. My take on the episode was Tech saw her as someone who had the chance to do good and help people, but her judgement was being clouded by her anger. But that may just be me. However I do like your backstory for her

I always had a hunch that Black Velvet had a thing for Tech since she kept call him baby and darling. But Tech? I'm sure he would rescue her, after his many fond memories of Mallory (aka Mastermind) I think he had a soft side for other women.

Then you aparently never saw "The Cloak of Black Velvet" and really paid attention. I'll admit it, the guys do think she looked hot (for reasons I have no clue why) but you SHOULD be able to tell that Tech would have never, in a million years, fall for her. Or was that not what you were going for.

I said it once and I'll say it again, this looks like it's an actual cartoon cell, it's incrediable. Just out of intrest may I ask what type of software are you using to get these affects, is it Quark, Posser or photoshop?

One might say Loonatics is a fanartist's/writer's work come to life, borrowing a bit from the original, not being unfaithfull to the original, and also offering their own originality. So I do hope Loonatics still have a future for them. I just wish they do push the storylines more toward drama and keep building character developement stories like for Rev and recently Danger Duck like fanwriters and artists like to. Of course, another reason I like it because their aren't many new Antho-morphic animated series out there that are good. The recent TMNT series was so-so and Camp Lazo doesn't count.
