Yes, it does. This one was sold but I'd like to make another. Wiring the darn thing is such a pain I've been putting it off though!

I want to practice doing something like this. Do you cut each page individually, or glue them, then cut in chunks?

For this particular one, I cut a rectangle through 3/4 of the book, leaving the last pages intact. Then I installed the clock hardware and glued the outsides of the pages left in the book together. Then I glued the sheets of paper that I had cut out of the book together until they reached the different thicknesses I needed and cut the gear shapes out of them. Arrange the gears the way you like and then glue them down into place.
