I'm performing the benediction at my friends wedding, I take care of a house full of disabled children for a living, I'm babysitting an army of nieces and nephews while their mothers look for jobs....

As far as the tools go, I use a ball point writing pen, a v-7 open cartridge pen, a black sharpy marker, and a black color pencil.
I try to keep it simple.

I'm gonna make a guess as to what you use for each part of the drawing, you don't have to answer, but I wanted to guess. Pencil is obvious, you use it for all the shades, the cartridge pen for the outline on characters, ball point pen for the text, and the sharpie pen for panel borders?

I use the open cartridge pen for the borders and the parts of black fill that are close to delicate details.
I use the sharpie to fill in the rest of the black fill. I use the ball point pen for all the characters and background features (basically all the drawing) and the text. And the black colored pencil for the shading.
