Scroll down a bit so I don't need to clog the page up by C&Ping a chunky explanation.

I like it... the two costumes are nice and the idea of them sharing a kiss is sexy. I especially like how you drew and colorized the latex textures, it makes them look real. Great anatomy on the characters. All in all, it's a great artwork and I'll inspire myself of your techniques for leather and latex in the future.

and I debated back and forth a bit; we originally did our Wasp (and Hornet's chest) with the yellow marks as pushed out armor after seeing a cosplayer cheap out as a method of avoiding bonding yellow and black rubber for her costume. But when we commissioned John to do a larger group (five total), that style didn't look really good on some of the costumes and so we reverted to comic style and only went with the rigid armor on the gloves and boots of Hornet.

Um, hate to say this but I looked ALL over and I do not believe there is a female Hornet in the Marvel comics universe, there is two males (three technically as Peter Parker himself plays as the Hornet and three other heroes at one time to save lives in the 'Identity Crisis' storyline). Wasp however has always been female, and is either Hank Pym's wife or partner in the different variations.

So unless this is some TGd version of Hornet...something is wrong here.

Sorry, poor John gets himself stuck with stuff related to my stories when pays for commissions for me for presents. Basically, the Hornet design is a costume that's been cycled through a handful of different characters in my stories over the years. This is the "Madison" configuration, a character that has her roots in Ultimate Janet Pym (a character John himself really likes) but is distinctly at the same time. Hornet's also been Janet's daughter in another story of mine, but given the basic concept we wanted here... we figured we'd pass on the lesbian incest version and go with Madison-Hornet and not Dawn-Hornet.

Oh, so the Hornet is an original character, that explains it.

Yeah. I like the idea of a sidekick, protΓ©gΓ©, or heir to the power set and so I've played with all three ideas extensively. John's got three more coming soon.

Oh cool, I like how John did my character as well...but I feel I upset him because I hadn't described some things very well and he had to do a few edits in the end.

Occasionally we have revisions with mine (or 's) as well because I do the write-up emails and... well, I'm an author. I tend to be damn wordy sometimes.

I'm also a writer and have hand-written over thirty-six books, the first three when I was ten. So I've been going through and literally re-writing it because most of it is hard to read. So I know how it is, I'm surprised when a artist can bring out a character as I envision them and I'm always afraid my descriptions aren't that good.

Hank Pym became Wasp after Janet died in the Secret Invasion story line if I'm not mistaken I'm not sure if thats totally correct or if hes still wasp or not I quit following Marvel a while ago

You're right, can't believe I forgot him taking over as Wasp for a bit there, I mostly remembered him as Yellowjacket and Giant-Man.

Huh... well I didn't know they had two black-and-yellow insect themed ladies, I'm assuming there's a connection...

Marvel technically doesn't; the design for Hornet is actually a original for a project of mine some four or five years ago. We'll be seeing a greater Wasp Corps from said same project as John continues to chew through his commission backlog, which will show off some of our other designs for Janet's protΓ©gΓ©s.

Ah, well that's cool then... if only Jaggyd hadn't blocked me a while back for some unfortunate comments...
