This is one of these scenes where you look three times, and then you look again so not to miss anything.
You even commented on Dany's submission (as a new Deviant, why?).
Please tell me if I get it right:
- you made a render of the sleeping Lara and the smirking Dany
- you put this in the Photoshop-computer screen
- and you put this as foreground in the final render
It is a wonderful contrast between the still picture in the left foreground and the two dynamic figures in the right background.
On the first view the computer draws so much attention, that the figures in the background are only seen at the second glance,
this would not work if the sides were interchanged, most people look from left to right.
It would be interesting to test this with a chinese person (or a britisch, they drive on the wrong side of the road).
I love your complicated scenes!

You're right, I made 2 separated renders.
One, by night with Lara sleeping.
(then I made a fake deviant page with several screenshots)
And a second, with the montage as computer screen.
The fact is that my iMac is a 27" (so the resolution is 2560x1440).
For the laptop I tought it was a too high resolution (the texts were too small) so I had to resize everything to match a 1920x1080 resolution
(sometime I go too far)

From a logical point of view, it makes sense.
But I am not a neurologist so I don't know if these are the same processes
that are involved in reading and observing an image.
I mean that a picture may contain contrasts,
structure and lights that can catch the eye immediately.
As for my picture, I actually imagined it this way
(the computer to the left and the background to the right)
but maybe it could have worked the other way.
From my point of view, it's the depth of field that captures the attention but maybe I'm wrong

En fait, tout dépend des idées que je peux avoir.
Si j'ai une idée bien précise çà facilite les choses.
Comme je commence à prendre mes marques dans Daz, gérer les poses, les lumières, etc. me prend moins de temps qu'avant. (Par contre, je tâtonne toujours avec les expressions faciales)
Ensuite, mes rendus n'ont pas de grosses résolutions d'images donc les temps de rendus n'excèdent pas les 2h généralement (sauf s'il y a de la volumétrie, là çà peut tourner toute une nuit 
Pour ce qui est de photoshop je bosse avec depuis 10 ans donc, sans être un expert (loin de là), je me sens relativement chez moi
