No, It happened in today's episode. You might be surprised what else goes on in the show and fandom, Fans made two background female characters (Lyra and Bon Bon) out to be a couple and there was a possible hint to that in today's episode; Lyra had a smile on her face as Bon Bon had, Ahem, What looked like bedroom eyes and then Derpy Hooves popped up out of the well.
