their eyes and legs .. I feel an expression of death or pain, does not seem the most elegant photo

I really do not see what this image can possibly evoque in terms of pain or death, but if that is how you see it, that's just fine. In no circumstance however is the model, the pose or the photo come to that inelegant.
You know my friend, sometimes a photo critique says much more about the person making it than about the artwork examined.

of course my friend! everything from the viewer side, we know that this art is very subjective, probably that morning I woke up with some sleep related and his eyes remind me of this feeling, ( lol ) but if we put on another plane, she might have slipped and fallen on the stairs and you have fired at that moment. anyway you have photos most elegant in the same place ( what I meant ), in any form is a beautiful photograph and an excellent job. thanks for sharing John..
