Description other side of the Lanard. No shell in this photo, but they pop out lafter each shot, which is bonus cool with a round in the chamber look that it has

see all the build photos on my FB page, thanks!

If anyone's interested in this exact gun, let me know. I haven't listed it (I was thinking about keeping this one!), but it may go up this week unless someone snarfs it up!

Oh, that's perfect. Ejectable shotgun shells kind of bug me on futuristic shotguns, but I can't deny the coolness of it.

Ejectable? did I miss something? What do you mean ejectable?

Like, when you do the pump action and the shell flies out. I've always figured they'd use careless or railgun style weapons in the future.

How did you manage to Paint the shells without jaming the Mechanism?

i used spraypaint for the insides of the gun and the shells and half of the shells stuck in the magazine. Even after using Oil on every moveable part it wont work so fluently.

No paint on the inside of the gun, but in general, anything added to the shell can cause jamming. I let these dry really well before trying and although they worked repeatedly, there's always a chance of a jam down the road. More for cosmetic looks, honestly

Is this gun buy-able? and do you have the blueprints for it? the schematics?

It's a Lanard X6, you can buy them in some stores (toys r us had a set with the gun included).

How much do you think you would charge for one of these painted, with more of this gun's color palette?

[link]

Or if not with that palette, what about as-is in this picture?

I have them on Etsy right now, feel free to check them out there if you'd be so kind. I don't want to turn dA into a store if I can help it, hehe. Thanks for the interest, I really do appreciate it!

Uhh... I think the pictures for that one may be wrong.

It looks like a different one of your revolvers! Is this the right one?

Oh indeed. Thats what I get for replying that late, sorry. X8 and X6 are the worst names they could have come up with, hehe. I can get another of those, but they're kinda overpriced. The last one was the same as the link I sent, so that would be where you're at, price-wise and shipping is pretty standard. Let me know if you need me to go get on (make sure that I can get one..they run out a lot.). thanks

Where can i get this one, i've never seen it in stores. if you lost the big mag in the front it would kinda look like the halo pistol

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Brutechieftan [2011-06-20 20:58:27 +0000 UTC]

I had to have a person buy them and ship to me, because they are also not in my area here in Florida. The company is LAnard and the model is the Shell Shock X-6. If you find them online, they really mark them up. The retail is right at 10.00 like a nerf maverick.

and there betta than a manverik. i've almost fixed my recon. just have to cut off the part at the front with the last striped screw and its a fixed XD>

Brutechieftan In reply to JohnsonArmsProps [2011-06-23 19:36:58 +0000 UTC]

now that i hacked off the last striped screw i've got all the parts back in but i can't get it to work (the part that slides back and forth to reload it won't budge)

well after fidling around for a bit the cat jump on the table and the spring that is used for the triger is lost now so its useless now. i was thinking of getting a nerf deploy in stead. its kinda like a shot gun so what ever

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Brutechieftan [2011-06-27 01:52:31 +0000 UTC]

bleh, sorry that happend!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Brutechieftan In reply to JohnsonArmsProps [2011-06-27 18:49:11 +0000 UTC]

nah. don be sorry. instead of getting the deploy, i found the element action kit. now i've got the sniper score. buts more like an ACOG scope than a sniping scope. but it improves accuracy...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Brutechieftan [2011-06-28 05:17:40 +0000 UTC]

Thats a great kit! I have bought a ton of those myself. I have about 20-30 scopes as a result. I try to use them on projects to get them out of my shop I admit, they do look cool!

Brutechieftan In reply to JohnsonArmsProps [2011-06-29 12:35:59 +0000 UTC]

you wouldn't happen to have any extra, mags from the alpha trooper or raider lying around?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Brutechieftan [2011-06-30 04:41:55 +0000 UTC]

I wish I didn't but I've seen a real increase in the requests for the big guns - subsequently, those piles of drums are shrinking and I'm not looking forward to having to buy a raider to salvage the drum for a project

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Brutechieftan In reply to JohnsonArmsProps [2011-07-02 20:52:22 +0000 UTC]

so that would be a no then.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to Brutechieftan [2011-07-04 01:22:12 +0000 UTC]

Not at the present, but I could always take in another one soon. I get large lots of nerf guns and they're always a combo of guns, quite often the raider and drum.

i bought one of these a while back, the only part i really used was the spring, just didn't see much potential in it, but you've made it look really nice here

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JohnsonArmsProps In reply to CPT-Blackridge [2011-06-20 04:52:16 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I did this one start to finish today (well, sanded and primered last night, paint today). I had the look in my head and wanted to see if I could match it physically. I'm happy so far, just a bit more to do
