This looks really good, but it does so in its own way, and I don't agree that way is steampunk. It takes more than colours to make steampunk. I think colours like this should be sold on their own merits and not labelled as steampunk.

I tried finding this gun on Etsy, but I couldn't find it ;~~; This is actually the gun I wanted for this cosplay I'm doing, but I can't seem to fin any other gun like it.

I love it! But As always I'm confused as to how you create such a wooden texture, is it attached or painted on using some technique?

It's just brushed on paint in this case. I try not to use wood grain vinyl if at all possible. I think I've become good enough with it to just add it myself as it's needed

I love the combination of steampunk and futurism in this rifle. At least I think it looks a little futuristic.

The real insanity is I still see all the other bits I COULD have detailed further.. some day I'll do one where there's literally nothing left for me to do and then I'll be happy with the finished product

It won't become steampunk instantly if you made it look like its from wood and copper. The design is very futuristic, so I don't think so it fits the category. I like it anyway, but not as steampunk, but as a sci fi rifle. Good work!
(btw, if you want to do steampunk rifle, you should try make one similar to the rifles of the end of 19nd century)
