"Aitsu" = "That Guy"

I suppose I should start with the skinny fellow jumping across the picture. That would be Damamaru, an all-purpose housekeeper spawned from repeated attempts at making a detergent that could remove any stain. Dama lacks many things, including a head, arms, several internal organs, a belly-button, and genitalia, so you could say he's genderless (but for sake of easy writing, I will continue to refer to him as a he). He's more of a biological household appliance than a person. He's currently on the run from his master, tired of work and eager to taste the world.

Anyhow, Dama works by placing objects in the bubble he has for a head, and subsequently absorbs properties of it which manifest in arms. So if he puts a hammer in there, he'll sprout forked pistons that can pound nails and pry them out. The bubble can change, to become the object, too, so he can microwave three dishes at once. If he gets ahold of a sufficient amount of a person's DNA, he can also take on their appearance. Hitting his head while in his transformed state will knock the foreign object out, reverting him to his original form. The bubble is permeable, and doesn't pop.

And now for the angry gang chasing him in the corner. That would be his family of sorts, whom he is running away from. The angry woman would be the creator of all the other characters on screen; they all call her Kaachan. She's something of a mad scientist. She's not mad herself, but is a practitioner of mad science. What is mad science? I don't know.

The other three are Kamimi (the flying paper girl), Schnurrbart (the gunslinging cat), and Kuracchi (the red pinchy thing). I don't know what they do yet, as they are all freaks. Kaachan sends them out to try to find and bring back Dama whenever possible - the house is starting to smell something fierce, and she doesn't know where the kitchen table's gone.

Well, onto other things. I came up with the idea of Damamaru one day when I was walking to class. Never drew him 'til now, though. And what's up with those sleeves? Doesn't even have arms, yet he's got sleeves that goes down to his ankles. To be frank, I just drew 'em long so they could flop in the wind behind him and look cool. Maybe it's to compensate for his not having arms.

Schnurrbart bears an uncanny resemblance to Chiyochichi .

Oh yeah! And I call this "Aitsu" 'cause of Damamaru's ambiguous identity. Just exactly what/who is he is uncertain most of the time, since he's always turning into people and things and people things, so the best way to refer to him is "aitsu." That guy.
