Floofboxes are a closed species

Introduction

Floofboxes are a species based around music boxes. They can transform their designated music boxes at will, but they mainly transform for defense or sleeping. They use the music from their necks to scare away predators. For the floofpup and floofcat, when their music begins to play, their heads begin to turn the whole way around as their song plays. They can adjust their head when the music stops however. They usually have hooves to use to trample their prey which usually consists of larger insects or small
mammals such as mice. They usually avoid anything covering their necks or tails, otherwise their gears could get jammed and it could lead to serious problems, sometimes even death. This species was created originally by Whizavy and was purchased and adjusted by Eevee-woman

Floofpups

The most common floofbox in Orchestrina. They are mainly built in strength, usually using that strength as an advantage to dominate both their predators and their prey. Their music, along with the Floof Foxes, can only be played when their tail turns.

Floofcats

Being slightly more uncommon than the Floofpups, the Floofcats use their stealth to avoid other prey. As they are quite small compared to alot of other creatures, it makes it easier for them to find places to hide, such as rabbit holes and under trees. Floofcats have an extrodinary sense of smell and hearing, which makes up for the fact that they keep their eyes closed 90% of the time, for if they were to open their eyes, their music would begin to play and would make their head turn. Of course, it would be fine if the music wasn't wound up, but if the gears are left loose, the floofcat would become weaker since the tightness of the tail keeps their core strength strong.

Floof foxes

Floof Foxes are the most rare of the three, and seen by floofpups and floofcats as guardians or beings that need praise. Their size and their speed is what keeps them alive. Floof Foxes do not have a single song embedded in their neck; instead they choose either disks or paper to play whatever music they like. The choice of either paper or disks are made at an early age and one the choice is made, they stick with it for the rest of their lives. Some foxes can transition but it's extremely time consuming and exhausting to learn to play in a different medium, but those who are able to do both are given the upmost respect.
