Amazing. That's what I feel like saying to this image. To illuminate my grand liking for this image, I must first announce that I have never seen the wolf in this Fairy Tale other than a cartoon or realistic wolf depiction, yet have never read the book. This image for becomes something more mystifying. You changed the small or wimpy looking wolf into a tall and menacing anthropomorphic monster, and with the art-style of non-detailed drawing (like how I can't clearly see each individual hair on the wolf's fur), it makes it more like a depiction of some magical event, uncommon to most folks. Then comes the Little Red Riding Hood. With the aforementioned mysticism that I get from the image, and with what little I remember of the Tale, I can only imagine two things coming from her unseen face. 1, she is right now looking at the deathly red eyes of the massive wolf, unfazed from its pulsing terror and acting all jolly, only certifying the magical and oddly perfect rendition of an off-beat Fairy Tale, which most of these tales are (sorry, forgot to mention). 2, some form of terror, but not complete, because the atmosphere you bring to the background is still magically Fairy Tale-like, so no complete shock to pooping levels. Over all, fantastic work Artist

this story is so popularly redone. but i dont think iv ever seen a rendition quite like this. this is simply wonderfull. highly detailed and an original take on a popular tale. i dont think iv seen a version where the wolf is quite so big. but that makes it all the better should one choose to have a gentle beast instead of the normal killer type. a gentle giant always makes a story better save for the normal predator. theres somthing deeper in it when its taken to a new level. a truly wonderfull piece. and an excellent example of skill.

Once again - it is a pleasure to critique one of =sanguisGelidus 's masterpieces. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c⦠" width="20" height="20" alt="

It's always interesting to see a new rendition of a legend, mythology, or bedtime story. Though Little Red Riding Hood is popularly redone - it is not often you come across such an interesting, skillful interpretation.
The one thing that I appreciate the most about this piece is the detail. I mean, check out the fur! And the grass! I can hardly look away from the strokes and skillful layering. The foreground and background are easily separated, and yet there is so much gorgeous depth.
I actually adore the glowing eyes and the gigantic stature. It's what separates this piece from most. Little Red Riding Hood's small gesture is so sweet and adds a warmheartedness to an otherwise daunting picture.
The only suggestion I have is the left foot. Paw... whatever. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g⦠" width="17" height="15" alt="
" title="Giggle"/> It does seem a bit awkward, but at the same time - it makes sense for it to seem closer up. Perhaps it even helps create the image's depth?
All in all, this is another gorgeous piece that I couldn't help but offer my thoughts on. Once again, amazing work. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c⦠" width="20" height="20" alt="

I've been looking at your artwork lately since your "Angel" piqued my interest. So far I like what I've seen, you're obviously exceptionally talented.
I'd like to start off this critique by saying this is one of the most impressive things I've come across on DA. The execution, the colors, the shading, and the concept. It's all perfect.
When I first saw it, I thought of how brave the girl must be to approach a creature like that. My second thought was "Why didn't the creature immediately eat her?" And suddenly the message of this picture came to me. "Face your fears, they may not be as scary as you think." This single picture speaks volumes.
The originality is there. I've never seen a concept like this before and I love it.
The technique is perfect. I love the shading of the wolf and how every little detail stands out in perfect clarity. Then you have Red Riding Hood, standing like a beacon of light in the shadow of something so terrifying. She stands out well, without drawing all the focus. Amazing work.
I'm adding this picture to my favorites and giving you a 5/5 rating. This is truly a work of art.

This artwork portrays a classic fairy tale with a deeper sense of meaning. It features some really spectacular red, orange, and yellow colors with a great sense of contrast between the shadowy Wolf and the highlighted Red Riding Hood. The texture is so amazing, that I couldn't believe that it was all done with Photoshop; I first thought it was done with traditional oil painting. The best thing about this piece is how ambiguous it is as it makes you wonder if this massive Wolf is nothing more than a savage beast, or just a misunderstood creature who hasn't comprehend love before.

this is one of my favorite big bad wolf pieces I've seen. I've seen your work on Zedge and other places, it was only a matter of time before I found you here. Love your art.

O.O Whoa that's scary! I like it though, it takes the size of the wolf to a new perspective. The larger it is, the more intimidating it seems. It's great!!

Sadly, this reminds me of a picture I just thought of myself recently, though it's not quite the same. However, I do like this. I love wolves, and I like the idea of sweet little Red giving the wolf a flower.
