i believe (although i may be wrong) that the 'backbones' are the back muscles which are toned against the dragon's slightly transparent skin. p.s. correct me if i'm wrong

I saw this in my messages, and I thought "ooh, this looks intriguing! I must see!" When I saw it fully, I was immediately hit by a rush of excitement and I was in absolute awe. What impacted me the most, was the skin. It's so realistic. At first, I thought this was some kind of photo, with really good editing. It really is gorgeous, too. The proportions are just right, it's extremely detailed(which I always admire), the shading is spot-on, and the effects really tie it all together. Overall, if I had to sum it up into just one word, I would say "beautiful." You never cease to amaze me.

This piece brings to light a certain innocence of humans as a whole. The color pallet and texture work together to create something soft, natural, and overall- fantastic. The eye of the dragon is particularly striking, the pink stark against the neutrality of the dragon. The anatomy is very well done, the cuts are not overly gory- they truly give to the painting, and the crystal's glow- gorgeous. If anything, the background could be a cooler color, such as green or blue, though the tones used compliment the eyes of the dragon.Overall, this is an amazing piece, as always, full of detail.

Lovely, for the most part, but the right half of her back is missing, leaving her right arm sticking way out from nothing, and her hips are much too narrow for the broadness of her shoulders.
