This was a gift commission for the owner of the character Ranya! I REALLY enjoyed the armor on this one. The set she built was super cool.Also, I wanted to make it clear that pose concept was not my design. I'm not very good at coming up with dynamic poses (something I'm working on), so most times I'll go to google and look up reference images to find a pose I want to use as inspiration. Most of the time it's reference photos, but in this case the pose is inspired by a piece an artist named "Mari" did. I don't feel right borrowing posing without giving proper credit to where the idea came from if it's from something other than stock so I just wanted to make this known!
Anyway, I also tried a new painting style for her skin which I'm REALLY digging and am probably going to continue using in the future.
Ranya belongs to her BladeAlchemist .
Art is mine.
All things Star Wars belong to Disney. (I know that Lucas Arts is still involved, but Disney still owns it.)

Haha, a lot of people hate on the Disney Empire, but they've been doing right by the IPs so I can't complain. Without their money and mutual love of the Star Wars IP "Force Awakens" wouldn't even exist and if Lucas Arts had made it under Lucas' iron fist you can bet your ass it would have been just as flaccid as episodes 1-3 (minus Obi-wan, Dooku and Qui-gon. I thought they were still amazing)! So for all the Disney hate, just remember it's their money keeping the things we love alive in ways we don't all absolutely hate (though of course I have a few criticisms about some of the Marvel movies, but I don't hate them!) and Disney is now being managed and maintained by the people who grew up inspired by IPs such as the Marvel Universe and Star Wars. They don't want to fuck it up either, haha.
