Description Now im getting more confident in colour changing i thought id do a tutorial.
This is my way of doing it, it may not be the right way but it works for me

Let me know if you find it easy to understand or not and if you find it useful

This is so helpful! I am trying to get my manips better, and I was beginning to wonder how people changed the colour of the horses. Thanks! I will certainly refer back to this tutorial when I need to!

Here is what I made by following your tutorial. I didnt recolour the horse as I had already cut the one of matchin colour, but I will certainly try a recolour soon! ^^

i think it'd be a good idea to add colour to the muzzle/hooves/points in order to make it more realistic: dark grey for a black-skinned white horse (grey), or pink for a pink-skinned white horse (cremello/extreme sabino/perlino/etc). without it it just looks like you greyscaled a picture of a horse with a LOT of curve layers added xD

other than that, i like this tutorial. it's not often i consider a horse manip tutorial to actually be good.

I may actually make this Part 1 and then do a part 2 for painting the horse in more details... Im not an expert on this yet, but i know alittle bit. Perhaps il practice abit more and then post it in a few days or a couple of weeks! But thanks for pointing it out!!

And thank you! I wasn't really sure if it was good or not, im not very good at tutorials and just do walkthroughs lol.

Ohhh! I always love finding out all the different ways people work at changing the color of horses...I am going to have to try this way once I finally decide to have a go at making a manip again. x3 Thanks for sharing your technique!!

I think its great fun! At first i used to get realloy frustrated with them but once you find a way that suits you it really is fun and addictive
