Here is a final render of the model, which I'm sending to the person who requested help making this for use as a paper craft replica prop. I'm done with it for now, though I plan to go back at some point in the future (when I know more) and makes some changes, mostly adding more details and changing a few things in the design which I personally have a problem with.Related content

You're correct. It is in fact, Jorge's weapon from Halo Reach, at least a variation of it. I've found plenty of reference's for his gun, but they all differed slightly in some way or another. So I ended up basing the model off the actual plastic gun that came with the Noble Team statue in the Collectors Edition of Reach.
I made this for someone over at Sci-Fi Meshes that wanted to use it as a basis for a papercraft model, so they could build a physical replica. So because of that, it didn't have to be as detailed as I would have preferred. I might go back later on however and take another shot at it, redoing a few parts and adding in some more details.
