Le Sponge, drawn almost completely by memory! The only parts I ended up using a reference for are the shoes and overall color palette. I'm so grateful for this show and its impact for my generation. While I was drawing this, I later realized I was using the exact same techniques and style one of my teachers from elementary school showed me. It was hard not to feel a little sad after that. I really wish I could remember more about her. She's a huge reason as to why I took up drawing. If it wasn't for SpongeBob and the encouragement I got from my friends and loved ones, I don't think I would have found my passion. Thank you, Stephen Hillenburg. Thank you, everyone.
