Hey.
Wonderful Stuff.

I think you're being a little hard on yourself.

Your work reminds me of a modernized version one of my favourite artists, Egon Schiele.

Are you familiar with his gouche pieces?
Perhaps a bit of subtle shading on the forehead would give her less of a washed out look?
And the ear is perhaps a little wonky. Looks almost like 2 ears in one.

Otherwise, this is a fiercely beautiful work.

I wasn't familiar with Egon Schiele, but I've been looking up his artwork and I'm honored that I made you think of him! Thanks for sharing, I think I'll keep him in mind for inspiration.
Yes, her forehead is definately washed out, along with a lot of other areas I'm afraid. It's everyone's excuse, but it was my scanner. I'll try to rescan and work with the levels. As to her ear, I looked again and you're right, the inner shelf of the ear protrudes out past the outer. I'll try to be more careful in my upcoming work

He's one of my faves.

Studied with and befriended Klimt, but I prefer his stuff to the more famous Gustav's, for sure.

More rawness.

I think however that the blue skin would look better if her top was made of a darker color.

Shes really outstanding. I love the blue skin, it looks natural somehow. The only thing that bothers me is the extremely high hairline. The neck also looks a tad thick but it could just be the position. Other than that I think the anatomy is dead on. Great folds in the fabric. Welcome to DA.
