I felt rather bad about leaving The Riddler out of the group of Batman villains I drew a while back, so I decided to devote one page to him. Honestly he's one of my favourites right next to Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow, especially The Animated Series and Arkham series version of him. He's that pompous jerk you gotta love to hate.
I'm having fun with these. I might devote more villains to their own pages! (Bane, anyone?)

Nice! He kind of reminds me of a classier version of The Joker with the standing pose you've given him. XD I especially like the one with his "Riddle me this...": He just screams "faux affably evil" there, no?

Yeah, he does have that refined evil quality about him. He's definitely more about humiliation and proving that he's right rather than completely killing Batman (Although if push comes to shove, he will TRY to do it.
I think the pose I like the most is the one at the bottom-right. Definitely classic "YOU MUST BE CHEATING!!!

I actually just watched the episode where he first made his entry in the animated series.
I love his voice in the Arkham games, as well as I can't wait to see more of him in the animated series.

Also congrats on watching the first appearance of The Riddler! Trust me when I say the other episodes he appears in won't disappoint! They're all like a grande puzzle with the right amount of action!

I applaud this my good man... Very good job... and personally, I really like the design of this version, as he appears much cooler than a lot of other versions I have seen (I'm looking at you The Batman series (too goth looking), and that BatmanΒ movie (the one with Jim Carrey, he did okay, but his design was just not right, and lacked that Riddler pompous elegance)).
Looking forward to future works man...

Oh god, yes! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who prefers the green suit rather than the question-mark onesie that Frank Gorshin or Jim Carrey had, nor am I too crazy about the Goth Riddler from The Batman.
Thing is, in terms of origin, it's hard for me to say: I like the video game programmer who got betrayed by his boss in The Animated Series, but I also like Arkham Origins's take where he worked for the computer-hacking/database wing of the Gotham Police Department. Both of which are VERY interesting, but either way, I see him as a pompous nerd who taunts with a calm pride demeanor.
