A tree in Carmel

This part of a collection of pictures I have been taking from the trunks of trees, I started shooting them a year ago in Hawaii on a school trip, and I suppose the interest stuck...
I found this tree growing in the middle of a parking lot. The parking lot was at the bottom of Carmel(the water side) and was in affect covered in sand dunes and the parking lot was one with the sand... I only took this tree because I had some camera problems at the time with some white balance. I found out a couple hours later it was stuck in Tungsten White Balance....
Had to switch cameras for this shot.
