Reminds me of my recent trip to Boston this Jan! The way he is walking is probably the way I walked as well, it was just too darn cold to not be hunched over! Beautiful lighting and perspective as well, I enjoy the curvature of the road

True! I am happy I left before it turned 15 degrees! Even here in Texas where I live, its colder then usual. Darn global warming, that is.

Great picture!
I'd say with either a fill layer of dark red, set to the exclusion blend mode (that would alter the shadow colors) or with a curves adjustment layer.
Since the reds are present as well as in the shadows as in the highlights, I'd go for the curves option.
But I'm still curious to jonniedee's response, because he really nailed it
