Description Yeesh, those old, ugly things on the "then" side... Kay Fedewa linearts which were plastering certain websites back in the day and this awful coloring, man I sucked.

What the hell was going on with her muzzle marking?

Well, those two were the first to picture of Jordan. Back then she was basically an OC which I also used as my sona.

It was in April 2013 when I finally updated her. I was tired of her simple, boring design so I started coming up with new design ideas. It took a ton of designs until Jordan 2.0 was "born"  Just as little background info, here are those designs, ironically I scrapped them all and made the final one. Batch 1 happened during my first "let's change my sona up a bit" phase which sort of died down soon and batch 2 was the secound round which ended up in me finally updating her. (You can see my art still sucked so bad back then and let's not even talk about this horrid Balto base.)

I really like version 1 and 2 from the first batch and don't really see why I haven't picked any of those. #1 would make sense as I originally wanted Jordan to be pretty much black when I first made her. Only went with the grey as it was easier to see on my old screen and would not hide the lines too much.  I might darken Jordan's coat a little now that I think of it, not sure yet though. #1 was heavily influence by an old OC of mine, Isabel

Enough about the old, let's get on with the new. Obviously I gave her an anthro form as well as the hairstyle I am sporting irl. To make her appear more me-like I also gave her what happens to be my eye color. The spotty-ness isn't just to make her "oh so unique" or to follow the trend of characters with multicolored eyes.
The color of her streaks can vary just like I keep dying it in different colors.
I kept her base colors the same but added a pinch of black in memory of the idea to have her be mostly black and to add some contrast to the design. The chest/belly marking is there to make her look more balanced and complete. The only marking that never changed is the tip of her tail being light grey. Her front leg and muzzle markings did change in shape and/or color.

So yes, I think during those 5 years since I first made her she did go thrugh a bit of a change. Her design is still fairly simple but that's absolutely okay, I don't need a character that's designed so "unique" and complicated to a point it is nearly impossible to draw it. I am fine with her design and don't plan on changing her anytime soon.

Soooo, gave you guys quite a bit to read, huh? I didn't mean this to turn out so long but I figured I'd give a bit of an explanation. there'd be more I could tell, like how she came to be and how she got her name but that would make this too long. If you really want to know just feel free to ask.  Free cookies for those who read through all this.
