Me, getting focus marks for a scene at a strip club on "Good Intentions." I sent this from my cell phone to my wife, who responded, "How many times did you have to measure this?"I replied, "I measured it three times and kept coming up with 38-24-38." Shot by my assistant using his cam-phone.

I have to measure the distance from the camera to the subjects so that I can focus when we do the shot. I don't get to look through the camera!

You might want to try to get a job with her, instead. The next scene was shot at a mucky yucky lake, me in hip waders, right in the middle of it.

It was a bit of a tough shot (for me), by the way. Had to get focus on the girl sliding down the pole (inverted), and crawling across the stage, then throw focus to Luke Perry, sitting beside the stage, then to a waitress who comes up to Luke & his buddy, then back to Luke, then to the other dancer (stunt woman) as she does her fall, then to Luke's buddy as he leans over & tips the fallen dancer, then up to a bouncer who approaches Luke, then to Luke as he is pulled away, then back to his buddy as he finishes up his drink and follows Luke out, then to another waitress in the background who watches them go out. This was with an 85mm lens at f/2, so the depth of field was like...4 inches where Luke was sitting.

Oh jeez. That sounds like a fiasco and a half. I imagine it must be tough to plan out a scene like that, with so much going on at once. I'll have to go and see the movie to see if you pulled it off all right
