check out critical role, roll play, high rollers, dice camera action, and Maze Arcana on Youtube, they're all online streamed games. This will give you an idea of how the game is played and what it's like. You can also check out local game stores for games, or boards for people looking for players. Most groups, and Dungeon Masters, love teaching people how to play, and expanding the player base!
