Concept artwork for my comic Squad - a shot of all the characters together, with their APC in the background.Enjoyed doing this piece. Discovered some stuff about shadows and highlights.

I do like the lighting. Feels like maybe there's an electric light somewhere in the midst of them. Maybe in front of the big guy. It does enhance the feeling of mirth in the picture. The whole scene sounds like a merry pub. Should be some fiddle-music in there somewhere .. laughing, and sounds of cutlery. The way you've composed it, is like an outsider looking in.
I also like the way you've staged all the characters quite naturally, and there's a nice interactive dynamic going on between the characters. You can kind of get a feel of the various relationships. This picture describes the mood and world of the comic really well.

Like all relationships, there are good times and not-so-good times, and this is one of the good times for the Squad, and one can see that it is very warm, if not spiritual. Huddling together like this, they know that they can well rely on one another, that they are the best team in the world, and that not even death can stop them.
