Description
Her head was bowed and she could taste the blood between her teeth. It was tangy, more bitter than she had expected but something about the metallic tinge brought her closer. Whoever this guy was that she had had a spat with, he certainly was making it worth her while. A liver was in her mouth when she heard a choked sound behind her, earning a small sigh.
"If you don't like it, then go somewhere else."
Her voice cracked across the empty space between her and her brother, breaking the stunned silence that he had fallen into. Slowly she lifted her head and down the liver in a single gulp, turning to face the whimpering mess.
"Look, I am hungry, we haven't found anything to eat in days due to how useless a hunter you are." A paw shoved the dead Vesper that was on the ground. "He was here, he was being annoying. What's the problem?" Inchoate couldn't understand, why was this such a big deal to him? It's not like either of them ever cared for anyone else. It had always just been them together, so why was he so upset over some dead Vesper.
"He was alive..."
The voice of Malfeasance cracked as he spoke. "He was alive, and just... He just. He just wanted to sell us flowers and you tore out his throat."
This time Inchoates ear flicked. He sounded traumatized. Utterly traumatized and the blind being didn't know how to feel about it. "... Does it bother you?" She asked slowly, her voice like silk. "To see me having a meal?"
In response to her question, she heard paw steps leaving. Moving away from her. Ah... So it was bothering him. "Do you think I'm a monster for resorting to this?"
She was met with silence, for a solid minute nothing met her ears until very quietly. A single "yes" resounded. This yes caused for her eyes to widen and her entire form froze up. Was she a monster in his eyes? The realization crushed her for a moment as she looked to the ground. She had always assumed, only others were monsters. The rest of the world were the ones who had something wrong with them. Yet. yet here she was, considered just as low by her own brother. How easy was it, to be considered a monster. She had never felt guilt nor shame, but at the words spoken in that moment. There was the briefest flicker of such emotions although it was crushed before it could grow. Even if she was a monster, she would be one who would take pride in her choices. No matter how much others would resent them.
Inchoate is my messed up bean bag. I love to draw scenes that are disturbing and graphic on every level but I don't ever tend to post the detailed ones. Either way though, she never truly feels guilt or remorse. But she never considered herself a bad person either, the rest of the world was horrible but her and Malfeasance were like the lights in the dark. Or so she had thought until Malfeasance was sickened by her actions enough to speak up. Hitting her with the realization that she as well, was a monster. A thought that had never even once crossed her mind before
Also it is way too hot for me to think or draw properly someone please save me from this heat
