Stuff happens in Azumanga Daioh! that happens in almost every other high-school themed manga/anime made since. It'd be hard to believe they all got that from Azumanga, or Yotsuba&! for that matter... I suspect it happened in stories before that ^_^

I love Yotsuba! It's one of my favorites manga and I'd love to see it licensed here so I don't have to rely on scanlations, but oh well...

I was thinking, Yotsuba's manga has amazing backgrounds, they feel so real with that sense of depth and details in the buildings *_______* it's Β crazy how simplified the character's remain when the background doesn't and the whole comic looks great with that contrast. I love it
