From the name I assume this is meant to be a male angel, but to me it looks like a female. A gender-blender angel? In either case this angel has a lot of character, I love the innocent yet flirtatious expression. The overall composition is great too.

thanks, nice to see you around here. yes it is a gender-blender, angel, jejeje, as you know they donΒ΄t have sex. but I am wondering why they have a male or female names.

Normally I avoid any images of people with wings like the plague, but this is different. Primarily I guess because it is an official saint, or at least I assume so, as I don't really know, as I am not catholic. It brings to my mind a skinny Botero painting. I could easily see Botero doing his own version of this painting. At any rate, I like it a lot. But I wish I could get a bigger picture of it.

yes it is an official saint, thanks about Botero,

I wish to have a bigger picture of it soon, it is not easy to scann, because the painting size is bigger than my scanner.

Your quite welcome and I understand about the picture size. I am lucky to have a digital camera that easily downloads right to the computer. I only have to scan the smaller stuff.
