Wow - how fortunate to have come across your work. Really great. This is one of my favorites of the ones I've looked at. The "driver" strikes a chord - I wonder if I don't take myself and my profession (professor) a little too seriously sometimes - if my steering column is a little less connected to the fate of the world that I think

I see you in this more than any of your other paintings. There's so much family resemblance and I can see how you may have felt this way growing up. I know I still do sometimes. If I just get out maybe my life will soar above the sand.
