How to interpret this? I feel as if those horrifying Blue Men eating people, smiling, and manipulating the masses are the said Parasites, using the slaves for their own greedy deeds.
But what of that Massive Cyclopes looking thing? Is that Nature/Divine/God itself, representing how people have become distant to the Truth in favor of something more quick or appealing? Or does it remember the collectve mass as a whole getting curious?
Personally I like to see it as a Divine or The Divine Figurehead looking down on those parasites with either disgust or judgement but i guess it could be petty interpreted in anyway.
But basically... i love this art piece. Following ^_^

Your work is always so beautiful, and I could spend hours going through your gallery, as creepy as that my sound. But you do such a lovely job, such a great selection of colors that draw the eye to not only the main focus, but several different points in the painting, and the textures there, I just, have no idea how you do it, but you do it in such an astounding fashion.

Wow, totally amazing! My favourite part is the orb over the guys head with transluscent green liquid inside but the whole thing is just amazing. What is the overlying theme/concept/story? I'd love to know!

Thanks! The over all theme in my head as I was working on this was enslavement and abuse of power. My idea was that the guy with the orb on his head is introducing a tool to enable control over others for the benefit of power hungry parasites. In the painting the tool is something resembling religion. You might get something completely different from it. I don't like to weigh my paintings down with interpretive essays. Thanks for asking though.
