Description
I did this image around the same time as Kieth the Burglar (which I have not uploaded onto this site yet). I was trying to do more realistic artwork (but with a cartoonish style if that makes sense) and so when I found a great magazine add with this guy sitting their real chill, I knew I wanted to draw him in black and white with sharpie marker. By the end of it I felt something was missing which was when I decided to add in the word Gucci (originally I think it was a Dulce and Gabana add) which I followed up with the touches of yellow. I love the yellow, that's what made this image for me. This one I ended up getting published in the 2010 Spring copy of the Mainstreet Journal.
