can't find solid ground under my feets...a very emotional piece for me... it describes my current situation very good...
i made several versions, more darker... but I decided to submite this one

"Even when all is wrong and the angel is trapped, some feeling of hope still remain trying to get strenght, and that strenght I see it's in the way the figure closes her self, not showing the tears, she don't want to scream to the world, she is sad and hidding her sadness, she is wonded in the wings, the things that make her fly, dream or being free . Hurted in her feelings she can't reach the ground, the thing that don't let us to go insane, like a backup, the point of start where the soul can go when is wounded. I think the ground is like the logic, the thoughts where the soul can hold on when the feelings, the dreams are hurted..."

I think this one is perhaps my favorite piece here on DA
I loved the idea in the image, that can be more then 1000 words
its very expressive and very beautiful, better, wonderful
The figure sitting there with no way to reach the ground, with the litle shoes, beautiful ones pointing to the ground, the face looking down and covered by the hair, and the litle wings like if they were somehow hurted, it looks like a litle angel suffering and really sad, maybe depressed with the wings cutted down.
I loved the ambient you gave to this with all the textures and colors in the image, most of the textures I see it like scars envolving the angel. In here I think you worked the lights in a very good way, leaving some contrast with the light surrounding the angel like a way to catch even more our eyes. and about light I think this angel even with the sad feeling is receiving some hope in the light, like the sun in the hair.

So she (the angel) is trapped in the empty not reaching the one thing that can hold her, she cannot fly with the wings cutted and she just turned her face down crying a tear she refuses to show, she is deeply sad and all seems lost but some light of hope in the hair appear and is still trying to embrace her.

I have come to find this in your gallery many months after you'd submitted it, and for that I apologize. I imagine you must be moving forward with your art, and here I am calling you back to something you did 8 months ago. But I have to say that your talent is obvious to anyone who has seen your frontpage and gallery. That goes without saying... just as me saying that your gallery is impressive, intimidating (in a good way), breath taking. I can only think of one word when I am looking upon your art, and that would be "awe".
I am in constant awe when in your gallery. Well, ok, I am also in "envy" all the time too. 
I want to tell you that if I ever, e-v-e-r, make something that is 1/10th as amazing as this image, I could retire a happy man. This piece of work, along with your skill, is seriously one of the reasons that I purchased Photoshop, though I can't for the life of me imagine ever making something this beautiful. I wish there was a print available of this, for I would buy it immediately.
My only regret (aside from taking up all your time in writing this huge post...sorry!) is that I couldn't be sitting there with you to see how you make something so stunning. If you ever feel like taking on a student...

This is just *$#* gorgeous!! She seems sad with her head down, arms crossed limply and legs kind of just dangling...positioned so well! What gets me the most about it is the whole atmosphere.. it has this fairy tale quality that I obsessively adore. I want to be IN that place.
