can't find solid ground under my feets...a very emotional piece for me... it describes my current situation very good...
i made several versions, more darker... but I decided to submite this one

"Even when all is wrong and the angel is trapped, some feeling of hope still remain trying to get strenght, and that strenght I see it's in the way the figure closes her self, not showing the tears, she don't want to scream to the world, she is sad and hidding her sadness, she is wonded in the wings, the things that make her fly, dream or being free . Hurted in her feelings she can't reach the ground, the thing that don't let us to go insane, like a backup, the point of start where the soul can go when is wounded. I think the ground is like the logic, the thoughts where the soul can hold on when the feelings, the dreams are hurted..."

This is the most beautiful and emotional piece I've seen here on D.A. ever! I love the tarnished surface and the brownish colors. Amazing, I only wish that I mastered English better so that I could describe what I really feel. *speechless* This calls for a +fav and a dev watch. Watch out!
And btw, you don't, by a chance, listen to "A Perfect Circle"? (Judith is the name of one of their songs.)
Well, enough of me ranting. I'll go to my own humble abode and stand speechless for an hour or two... thinkin' of this piece... the fav of all favs!

Wooow!!! so many comments. This is a beautiful picture, I like how you mixed the brushes in with the tree branches, it adds finness. It looks a little worn with age and scratches. It's soft, lush and hazy with color. I can almost see the swing moving from side, and hear forest sounds in the background. This picture litteraly suck me in and moves me inside . Stunning!!! I hope you are not feeling too down.
