Significant amount of this work was, in fact, created during lockdown.

My entry for this years Brisbane Portrait Prize, made the deadline by 24 mins after working on it for over a month.....just that easy

I need to extend a huge thank you to my beautiful wife Kat, without whom this would simply not have been possible.

She was my inspiration, subject matter, and sounding board for the project.

She also put in a huge amount of work looking after the little one, and singlehandedly stopped the house falling down around my ears while I buried my head in the studio from 9am till 10 pm for weeks at a time.

Very much a collaborative effort, hopefully I managed my part ok.

Good luck to everyone who entered the BPP, remember we have no way of knowing what the judges are looking for, so you can only look at it as a numbers game.

Based on last year, we all have about a 1 in 10 chance of getting on the wall.
