Description
A study of fruit and color done for my painting class. It was a quick painting done on canvas board. I was thinking about putting this in scraps, but it is a completed study.Related content

i don't think this belongs in scraps! i like the simplicity of it, and the colors are great. one thing i notice is that the left side of the banana seems to blend in too much with the shadow and the red behind it. also, i love the lemon. it looks really nice against that blue. nice job!

Hey thanks! I usually don't get comments on things put in scraps- this is something special. Yeah, the left side ofr the banana has too much red going on, but the color was reflected on it in real life and I wasn't tactful enough to tone it down yet. :-P I put it in scraps because it was really just an exercise. I don't get enough enjoyment out of little fruit paintings to claim them as my artwork I suppose...but thank you for your enthusiasm!
