Denis Levasseur is probably the funniest old man in the world! I have already told you that when I’m in the mood (especially in the summer) I like to watch “Just For Laughs Gags”, and that I like the actor Denis Levasseur, who is deservedly the main star of this French-Canadian prank show. This actor has a very bright comedic talent and I wanted to get acquainted with his early filmography. To my surprise, it turned out to be quite meager, but it turns out that at a younger age (1987-1993) he played in a similar show (the essence of which is to prank celebrities) called “Surprise Sur Prise”. It took me a lot of effort to find Denis among the huge number of episodes posted on YouTube, in very poor quality. But I found him! He left a very pleasant impression with his performance, despite the fact that I don’t understand a word of French. I was so impressed with his characters and images that it inspired me to create a cartoon lemur based on Denis from 80's and 90's. Denis Lemur.. sounds good!

I think that this actor attracted me with qualities that I do not have, but which I would really like to have. And not only with qualities, but also with such a life. Perhaps in the life that I should have lived (which was taken away from me by mental illness) I would have become an actress. Yes, yes, perhaps not an artist, but an actress. And it’s possible that it’s a comedy genre, because I feel a certain potential in myself that I don’t have the opportunity to reveal in my current life. And only my mother knows me from this artistic side..

But I regret to admit that I seem to have fallen in love with the image of young Denis and this saddens me. For as long as I can remember, I have been falling in love with images all my life and it has not brought anything positive to my state of mind. Falling in love with barren images can only cause sadness and longing. I hope that these feelings for fiction, for the appearance of a person who has not existed in this form for a long time, will soon pass.

And yes, I would like to send Denis these drawings, but I just have no idea how to contact him. I almost don’t run social networks, and I don’t even know if Denis himself is active on social networks. However, maybe I will find a way to send the drawings... we'll see!

Of course, I very much doubt the answer will be positive, but maybe someone lives there and knows Denis Levasseur? Maybe he played a prank on you once? It would be interesting to know if this ever happened!
