Last year, I was commissioned by Rangercrew to create a logo for their April Fool’s Prank that you might have seen some where on the net . And while at first when working on the logo, I did feel really sad that this was a prank and not an actual season, I still had lots of fun when designing it, and trying to make it as official as possible. I wanted to do something that wasn’t just slapping the Sentai logo on it. (i.e. the GB glasses logo). Though I did end up with something similar, with going with Red Buster’s Visor. I’m glad a lot of people did enjoy it, even if it wasn’t the most convincing poster (if I had more time to work on, I probably could have tried to replicate a Saban Brands poster, but I just went with the angle that SB was too cheap to commission one so they just slapped it on an existing poster.) But that’s what April Fool’s Day is supposed to be, a fun holiday where one must use common sense and have a sense of humor.
But who knows, maybe one day there will be a real PR adaptation of Go-Busters…
