She's the three witches' boss in Macbeth, among other things. Lots of symbolism here, like the snake for wisdom and the moon for her dominion over the night. Didn't know that devil dogs were considered familiars of hers. Shakespeare mentions "Hecate's Ban" as a curse placed on something, though I can't remember what it was at 2 AM.

Hehe, Yeah! Greek goddess of witchcraft and crossroads! Excellent job on her, by the way. She's elegant and beautiful but not so much that it overwhelms her inherent creepiness. That's really tough to do and I'm glad you managed to preserve both sides of her.Β
