Cutie Mark/Talent: A constellation; more specifically, The Big Dipper. This represents her talent in astronomy.

Description/Personality: Princess Star Eclipse was born and bred as a Pegasus, but wanted desperately to be an alicorn as a young filly. She was actually quite jealous of her brother, Prince Ultraviolet Aura, because he is an alicorn and got a lot of fame and recognition for being the first male alicorn. Though, as she grows older, she realizes to love and accept who she is. When she was younger, she craved admiration, since many ponies admired her title and gradient wings. Though, getting into her teen years, she started to strongly dislike it.

When she enters her teenage years, she goes through a huge rebellion stage. She very rarely talks to her parents, and even wears a false, torn ear from time to time, because she thinks it looks cool on her. Her brother normally takes it off of her, since he thinks it doesn't suit her and wants to teach her more maturity. Though, despite her toughness, she can be really kind, adventurous, and funny if she opens up. If she doesn't know somepony well, she is normally sarcastic and blunt to them. She's also an astronomy nerd, but doesn't "nerd out" in front of others like her mom does.

Relationships: Star has always been a daddy's girl, but she does admire her mom because of their common interests in astronomy. She isn't too fond of her brother because of his huge ego, but has learned to live with him. She gets along really well with Esmeralda (Rarity and Spike's daughter), Hurricane (Rainbow and Soarin's daughter), Disarray (Fluttershy and Discord's daughter), and Mint Chocolate (Pinkie and Cheese's daughter). They are her closest friends, and she does everything with them. She is in love with Scale (Spike and Rarity's son) and thinks he's really cool, funny, and just plain awesome. She can take her friends' teasing pretty well, because she secretly loves the idea of her and her special dragon together.
