Edit to Permafrost’s backstory:

-After Jackal attempted to sleep with her then leave her, Permafrost leaves Jade Mountain Academy and returns to the Ice Queendom. Not soon after, Darkstalker returns and the IceWing Plague happens, and since she is a hybrid, she wasn’t affected. She became tasked with delivering medical supplies and messages through the Queendom, and when she wasn’t doing that she was helping doctors treat patients. This event awakened a fear of sickness inside Permafrost, but she didn’t really know it until it was all over.

-After Darkstalker disappeared and the plague ended, Permafrost decided that she did not enjoy living amongst other dragons. While she made friends in Jade Mountain and earned the respect of her tribe, she felt uncomfortable being constantly surrounded. When she explained this to Queen Snowfall, she understood completely. The Queen allowed Permafrost to remain a citizen of the Ice Queendom while she lives in the outskirts in her cave. Queen Snowfall also employed Permafrost as a full-time messenger to the Queendom. This, along with Perma’s fur trading business, gives her a nice income.

-Permafrost lives on her own with her foxes, travels across Pyrrhia to trade furs and deliver messages, and also visits her friends during either of her jobs and when she has free time and feels the need for companionship.

Updates on Perma’s life:

-While out hunting one night, Permafrost got her foot caught in a scavenger’s trap. She managed to get it off and treat it herself, but she went back to the doctors in the Ice Queendom to get it checked out. They put medicine on it, wrapped it properly, and forced her to stay in the Queendom for a few weeks to let it heal. When it did, the doctors told her she’d walk with a slight limp, but it wouldn’t affect her hunting or travels.

-Permafrost had found an egg abandoned in the woods and took it back home. She tried and failed to find its parents, so she decided to care for it herself (with the help of mothers and doctors in the Queendom). A few months later, it hatched into a heavily silver spotted NightWing dragonet she named Cluster. Thankfully, the dragonet seemed to have gained an IceWing-like resistance to the cold, and he joins Permafrost on her hunts (she shortened these so that he doesn’t get too cold and, when he isn’t with her, so that she doesn’t leave him alone for too long) and messenger/trade travels.
