Description This actually started out as a costume design! It kinda changed a lot! I have really been into Nell Brinkley's art as of late, and I think it really shows! I have also been obsessing over the golden age of illustration as well as Slavic fairy tales in particular. This is kind of a mix of red riding hood, the goose girl, and a whole bunch of other stuff... : /

I literally said "Oh my!" in my head when I saw this. Beautiful tonal work! I really love the costume of little red and the creatures in the background add a sense of foreboding. Wonderful work!

Apparently we have been obsessing over the same sorts of things! I've spent the majority of this year working on the Brothers Grimm's Fairytales, while being inspired by Arthur Rackham and Edmund Dulac
