Description Like I was saying in my previous post i usually like to do studies everyday to keep my mind fresh. This was one from a few weeks ago. I thought it turned out decent so i refined it a little in PS. It was done from a really low res pic of a girl in a leopard skin bathing suit, most likely a photo from the 50s. I find these fun and relaxing to do. Anyway, hope you like it, if so i can post more pages of stuff like this. Materials used: Blue Col-erase, than toned in PS, and i cheated a used a scanned in leopard print from an outfit Michele has for the bathing suit

Nice work Justin, I like how its so different to your usual more stylised girls. When you say toned in PS do you mean you finished the drawing using col erase, put it on a transparent layer in PS and coloured the lines? Love that cyan colour.

Thanks Eddy! The whole drawing was rendered in blue col-erase pencil. Than i scanned it and took it into Photoshop and just used the lasso tool and selected areas and just color adjusted them like that. Than just cleaned up little portions that were missed in that process.

I can't imagine how hard it was to do the cheetah print (leopard?)
I cheat and use textures, but for traditional work it's got to be tedious

I love the palette

Thank you very much! Yeah i had the Leopard print sketched in but it was just so tedious, so i figured this was the easiest way around it, and i think it ended up working for what it is.
